Classics Series: An American in Paris

Gene Kelly's classic An American in Paris (1951) will be screening at 5:30pm on Sunday March 20th, the second of the Classic Films on River series, a special series screening some of the most loved classic films from the 30s, 40s, and 50s for classic movie lovers in the Russian River Valley. 

Jerry Mulligan (Gene Kelly) is an American ex-GI who stays in post-war Paris to become a painter, and falls for the gamine charms of Lise Bouvier (Leslie Caron). However, his paintings come to the attention of Milo Roberts, a rich American heiress, who is interested in more than just art.
